Rebounding and running on a treadmill are two of my favorite aerobic workouts. I usually use my rebounded for lymphatic exercises but this only takes a few minutes and so I like to get an aerobic workout. If I am exercising specifically for my cardiovascular health then I am more likely to be walking or jogging on my treadmill while listening to music.
I have thought about which offers a better workout for someone like me who isn’t likely to ever look like “the man your man could smell like” but still enjoys moderate and ever vigorous workouts on a pretty regular basis. I think overall I like using the treadmill but I get so bored of the same thing. There are other things that you can do on a treadmill besides just walk or jog in a straight line. You can actually help out your balance by performing cross overs and a slow grapevine.
If I only had one I would probably stick with the treadmill because it is more expensive so it must be better, right? I like that with rebounding I can do other things like the health bounce and even strengthening exercises. When I am running on a treadmill I usually don’t get bored, especially if I am watching TV or listening to music. I get really bored rebounding though. There’s just not a good way to get a solid train of thought going when you are constantly bouncing up and down. Sometimes I can watch TV on my rebounder but most of the time I lost track of what is happening in the show and I have to stop rebounding to figure it out.
